Peri due on LP in April 2009

It seems that everyone who is into Bardo Pond really dug Batholith, their early 2008 collection of “orphaned” tracks from throughout the band’s history. The band has culled together Peri, an additional LP of similar material for release around mid-April of 2009 on Three Lobed Recordings. Get ready! Folks were running through the streets and screaming “praise great Cthulhu!” when they found out that Batholith finally allowed such classics as “A Tune” and “Slip Away” to see the light of day. Get ready for a similar reaction when they find out that both “Chicken Gun” and “Silver Pavillion” are on this upcoming record.  Read more » [last modified 2/25/2009 10:02 am]

4 (!?!) New LPs on Important

In May there will be 4 Bardo-related LPs coming out simultaneously on Important Records. Look out for vinyl from Bardo Pond (two twenty plus minute jams), Alasehir, Alumbrados and Moon Phantoms (Michael, John, Isobel and Jason from Bardo with Suishou no Fune). I think the press runs are 1000x on the Bardo and 500x on the others but that could be off by a hair. More details when we have ‘em.  [last modified 2/18/2009 2:56 pm]

On January 5, 2008, Archive will be releasing a double CD titled LSD Pond of studio sessions between Bardo Pond and LSD March.
