Peri due on LP in April 2009

It seems that everyone who is into Bardo Pond really dug Batholith, their early 2008 collection of “orphaned” tracks from throughout the band’s history. The band has culled together Peri, an additional LP of similar material for release around mid-April of 2009 on Three Lobed Recordings. Get ready! Folks were running through the streets and screaming “praise great Cthulhu!” when they found out that Batholith finally allowed such classics as “A Tune” and “Slip Away” to see the light of day. Get ready for a similar reaction when they find out that both “Chicken Gun” and “Silver Pavillion” are on this upcoming record.

Peri consists of five tracks (Karwan, The Path, Libation, Chicken Gun and Silver Pavilion) recorded between 1997 and 2001, including two featuring Joe Culver on drums. There is a pre-order running on the title through the label at www.threelobed.com/tlr/tlr067.html through March 31 which also comes with a bonus CD with extra Bardo material.
