Bufo Alvarius on "FRINGE"

Did anyone else catch the reference to Bufo Alvarius on “Fringe” (on Fox); it was to the Toad and not the great album by Bardo. Do you think there is a Bardo Fan on the writer staff? The Doctor's penchant for psychoactive drugs leads me to believe so.
