released late june, 2007. multi instrumentalist michael shannon loaded his car full of various instruments, from a dilruba to a harmonium, and drove the long drive from seattle to san francisco for the turnstone sessions. on a warm august afternoon in 2005, tom carter, robert horton, and shannon opened a few ice cold irish stouts and let the music bubble up and turnstones for about 5 hours. the peak moments from this session were culled together for this release. assembled and edited by horton. from a one-time pressing of 650 hand-numbered copies housed within photo-adorned arigato! paks.
